We have dogs in the past 50 years. On all our journeys we have never experienced such a warm welcome for our two dogs. We appreciated that we had a room in the renovated area. The hotel staff was very courteous. Also, the fact that daily the names of the staff at duty are announced in the elevator is unique as far as I know. In short excellent on all aspects.

A very nice welcome from the owner who checked us in and showed us to our room, where to park etc. We had a junior suite which is bigger than other rooms and the bathroom is also a good size - plenty of storage, well lit. Very good shower. Excellent window shutters on bedroom windows so early sunrise didn't disturb us. Good buffet breakfast, plenty of choice and variety. Freshly cooked eggs are available, (toast and) marmalade for English guests along with the usual cheese, meat, fruit, yogurt and more. Nice coffee. Private parking and a rear pedestrian gate for a shortcut into town - about 7 minutes to the end of the main shopping street, park etc. A supermarket is also nearby, 2 or 3 minutes walk.     Beautiful spa town with plenty to see and do. Cyclist and walker heaven. Exceeded our expectations. The Wellenbad is worth a visit with an outdoor thermal pool and there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Beautiful old buildings and lovely lake.

    The hotel is perfect if you visit the flowerpark "Park der Gärten" and is just a 3 minute car ride away. In front of the hotel is a road. A visit to Bad Zwischenahn village is nice and the boat tour over the lake too.

    This is a small quiet township mostly used for holidays or health recovery stays. It has a nice waterfront park with an open air museum and children's playground, you can also book a ship cruise from there. Getting around on foot is easy enough. There are lots of good breakfast options in the various cafes and bakeries in town. You can start several walks or cycling tours from here.

    Exceptional host. We have been travelling around Germany for three full months now and this is the best service we have had so far. Perfect location as the building is located just across the road from a bus stop with a direct line going to Oldenburg. The property boasts spaciousness, it’s very clean, provides every comfort of modern living and benefits from some gorgeous views of the nearby stadium.

    The room was spacious and very quiet. It was refreshing as to how housekeeping were not interrupting every few hours with new linen or towels. The cleanliness was of a very high standard. The food was of a very high, and often refined standard. For a hotel in a small German town, the English many of the staff spoke was of a high standard.
