The village lies along the Rhine and is not much.

Positively busy place, plenty of restaurants to choose from.
Positively busy place, plenty of restaurants to choose from. I can recommend the Altes Stadtweingut. Pretty scenery, good for hiking. The Roman museum is a must-visit if you're into history, and there's also an accompanying hiking route. Don't come just for the waterfront, it's better in other nearby towns. Staff were helpful and friendly and spoke English very well. We arrived early and were allowed early access to our room. The room was clean and tidy with two single beds. It was very quiet so we were one of only two couples staying there so had plenty of space and basically the entire castle to ourselves. We stayed in the ZauberKammer which was very spacious.
