If you want to get off the tourist track, try Jihlava! The town itself has a charming square that is not stuck in time - this is a normal Czech town with a super ugly shopping center right in the middle of the square. Also in the center, there are tours of catacombs under the town and a zoo. Jihlava is a quiet small central european town.
Jihlava is a quiet small central european town. It has a lot of charming architechture particularly in the old town and areas near there. The locals were helpful despite my not speaking Czech language. The journey here was for me to see someone I care about deeply which is why I could have stayed far longer. Getting around Jihlava is really simple. In the heart of the old town everything is a short walk to you. We were able to park our motorcycle in the garage too.
