Polis is a nice place to spend a couple of days.
Polis is a nice place to spend a couple of days. There are some good restaurants and bars in the center of the town, serving nice traditional dishes in good prices. Nearby Latsi beach is well organised, offering all the amenities someone can expect (lifeguard, changing rooms, toilets). Polis Chrysochous is a beautiful, quieter part of Cyprus. Away from the busy Coral strip but not too far away by car to be able to enjoy the best of both worlds. King of the tombs Mall in Pathos itself is fabulous for a mooch & a cool off! Try Tea for Two. Traditional English tea shop with the best ice- cream sundaes 😋 Polis has everything you need, local shops, supermarket, beautiful restaurants serving traditional Cypriot dishes & more. The hotel is fully developed including the beautiful gardens and plenty of free parking. The area has many charming very old villages but well maintained. Polis is a fantastic place to stay as it is still a nice place comparing sea and mountain . People are nice and there are nice tavernas where you can find home made food in logical prices. Municipality authorities have to spend money for making the small town more attractive and a memorable place which you can revisit in the near future. It is very easy to get around, it has a lot of nice restaurants and cafes, even a bicycle rental shop. Latchi port is very close, you can walk there and it's such a nice area with restaurants. You can rent boats to go to the Blue Lagoon which is just superb. Two ACs for two rooms, a large shower with good water pressure. The kitchen is well equipped, even a frappe maker is available. It's also great that the sun doesn't shine directly on the balcony in the morning or evening. A clear recommendation! The owner was very helpful and friendly in contact.
