We were overall very pleased with this hotel, where we stayed for 3 nights. Easy to find and with a decent parking lot, and the hotel seemed to be well kept. I wouldn’t consider this a true 5 stars, though, as some things were missing: no one came to help us with our luggage, the reception was understaffed and there were no special considerations. It was my birthday the day we arrived and no one seemed to notice it, and no special attention was given to that. We would expect a more personal touch from a 5 stars. Apart from those minor things, everything else was great. Our room was spacious enough even though we didn’t book one of the most expensive rooms. The swimming pool was also very nice, and you also have direct access to the beach (just a few stairs), which was also beautiful and clean (and the water was not freezing). On the pool, though, once again you’re reminded this is not the typical 5 stars hotel: even though there are many signs indicating that ball games and floaters are prohibited, we saw kids playing with those each day and no one said anything. Also, kids are not supposedly allowed on the jacuzzi, but there they were. It’s mainly a parents’ issue who ignore the rules, but I believe someone from the staff should have reminded them that these kinds of things weren’t allowed so that the other guests could enjoy the pool more peacefully. Also, if these activities are not allowed, maybe don’t sell balls and floaters at the hotel’s boutique!… The breakfast buffet (which runs only until 10:30; why not 11 or 11:30 if it’s a vacation spot?) was excellent! There were plenty of options for everyone and every taste, and lots of tasty fresh fruits. The same is to be said about dinner buffet, which was also very rich and of excellent quality. They had lots of salads and grilled vegetables and many delicious dishes with local and healthy ingredients. We loved every meal we had there (we had the half board option).

We arrived to the property in the evening and it was all self check in. The communication and instructions were super straightforward and simple! Even though we did not have any interaction directly with staff, it was incredibly easy to get in contact with them with our questions. They responding right away and were so kind and helpful — they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable!

I liked everything. It's an amazing hotel with an unbelievable breakfast, and the staff is there to assist with everything. Nice spa, really relaxing, and again, the people make the difference. It's one of the best hotels I ever stayed.

Sun, Culture and Gastronomy

Limassol is the second biggest city in Cyprus and the largest port in the island. Known for its vibrant nightlife, history and wine production, this tourist destination features long sandy and pebbly beaches, interesting museums and delicious Cypriot gastronomy.  

Situated on the Akrotiri Bay, cosmopolitan Limassol is the southernmost city in Europe and home to the beaches of Governor and Lady’s Mile. The medieval Limassol Castle, as well as the ancient cities of Amathus and Kourion are some of the must-see attractions while visiting Limassol.

You should not miss the charming Old Town with its traditional houses and small streets leading to the old port and the beach. Featuring rich vegetation like eucalyptus trees and cypresses, the green Public Garden is home to a zoo with animals like tigers and lions.

Kolossi Castle is about 14 km from the city of Limassol, and the Greco-Roman theatre of Kourion is 18 km away, near the village of Episkopi.

Larnaca International Airport is about a 40-minute drive and can be reached by car, taxi or public transportation. Booking.com has excellent hotels, apartments, resorts and villas near the airport or Limassol.

    Limassol was a great base to travel to others places and attraction eg Pafos, Kourion, The many Monasteries and Churches around Troodos Mountains, The Geopark What I found difficult though was the lack of car park facilities. I hired a car and found it very difficult finding places to park, especially in the main city area and around the harbour/port.

    Limassol is a city that is growing strongly with traits of modernity that are combined with traits of a town that has an ancient tradition and history. The inhabitants are very kind and helpful. It has good sea air, it does not seem like a city polluted by smog. You can eat well in the various restaurants and in particular those near the Old Port.

    Limassol is a mixture of old and new.

    Limassol is a mixture of old and new. It's a very busy lively place. The Old Town has so many restaurants catering for every taste. There are 2 Theatres which have regular concerts plays and films. There are 2 cinemas. You are never far from the sea where there is a lovely palm lined promenade. My favourite place is the Old Town and especially the old market. I always eat at the Polycarpos restaurant which serves traditional Cypriot food. Inside the old market building are many small food vendors and an airconditioned play area for little children.

    Limassol is an amazing city.

    Limassol is an amazing city. A place you can visit all year round. We explored the beauty of the ancient Limassol Castle and enjoyed a leisurely stroll around the charming old town. Also we visited the modern and luxurious Limassol Marina where we had a highly delightful and tasty dinner at Pier One Cafe RestoBar.

    Limassol (Lemasos) is a place which is right a the centre of the southern coast. The city itself is very beautiful and happening with lot of things to see in and around the town. Additionally if you have a car then you can plan various day trips to Paphos, Troodoos, Aya Napa , Nicosia etc. We planned this trip in December and it rains heavily , so plan your trips accordingly looking at the region where chances of rain are less ;) . It worked for us.

    The professionalism of the staff and hotel standards were high. The hotel were accommodating and met the needs for my family. We were in Cyprus for a family wedding and my outfit needed alterations. The hotel managed to deal with this promptly, although it was a little on the pricey side. Nevertheless the hotel were very accommodating.

    Very pleasant peaceful hotel in the most perfect location right on the beach, in a quiet area of Limassol. Many restaurants within few minutes walk, and 15 minutes bus drive to the marina and old city. Nice pool. Clean nice rooms with beautiful sea view.
