We booked last minute due to an issue at another hotel. They were very accomodating, the reception was very warming and friendly and very helpful. The rooms were very clean, large and the location was perfect for our needs. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The morning breakfast was superb. We recommend this without hesitation and would stay there again.

The stay at Hotel Belmar was really something special. I stayed twice at this place during our road trip through Costa Rica. The pure nature of Monteverde, the architecture of the hotel, and also the atmosphere of the hotel make this really a special place and we had no other place in Costa Rica where we felt like at home as we did here. I did a tour to the Madre Tierra farm with my daughter and a horseback ride. It was such a beautiful experience we will never forget. The breakfast and dinner was perfect and the restaurant is so beautiful with a remarkable view over the cloud forest. We will really miss this place as it sparked magic and means something to us.

WOW - what a great experience! Ernesto from the hotel did an amazing job as concierge via whatsapp to help me organize trips before I even arrived. More importantly, the tent is an amazing experience, being in the middle of the canopy while enjoying all the comforts one can wish for
