Marcella’s place is really nice and perfect to get away from all the touristic spots. The water of Golfo Dulce is only 4 meters from the property and you’ll find a lot of wild animals around like parrots, if you’ll lucky sloths and dolphins and more as well. The rooms are very clean with private bathroom and big windows + aircon and one of the most comfortable beds we had during our stay in Costa Rica! Also Marcella is a really nice host open for a little chat here and then.

Absolutely fabulous place. After half an hour hike through the forest you arrive to this well maintained place. True that the eating depends on what you bring with you but there is always someone who has more than needs. The trails are great and very well marked.

We liked absolutely everything at the Danta Corcovado lodge, it was actually our best accommodation so far in Costa Rica. The service is great, the food is amazing at both breakfast and dinner, the room is something special , the territory of the lodge is quite large, has many trails around the lodge, the location is close to the beach. Breakfast had 5 or 6 different choices to choose from. The design is very modern, a lot of creativity. Large room. No need for AC, the room doesn't have windows but has mosqueto nets. There is a possibility to take tours from that place but we didn't so can't comment. We stayed here on the way back from the Corcovado overnight Serena tour. If I could rate it higher than 10 I would gladly do it! Next time we will plan to stay in this place for longer.

Waking up with the sound of birds, monkeys and insects at sunrise - at this place you will surely tune into the natural rhythm. The best place we stayed in Costa Rica. Dario and Frederica have set up something special here in Dos Brazos, near the Corcovado National Park. Set in the heart of the jungle, in a lovely small Gold Mining village this beautiful guest house is a fantastic place to stay. Great welcome, the most comfortable bed, shower and space of our trip so far. A lovely fresh breakfast, great self catering facilities (but Frederica is a chef and will cook your dinner). Watching the jungle birds from their deck was a true joy. They went out of their way to book us a guide for a day exploring the jungle - a shout out to Jose who was a brilliant tour guide to the jungle. He grew up in the village, was fantastically knowledgeable about animals, history and Costa Rican life. Speaking excellent English. He is also a great artist - get him to show you the furniture he makes. Dos Brazos is also worth a mention such a lovely little village, the residents there welcomed guests so warmly, everyone we met had a smile and hola. Try the homemade ice creams advertised from small house! Perfect treat after a hot walk. La Casita means little house, but this is a little house with a big heart thanks to Dario and Frederica’s love and attention to detail. Perfect in every way and I wish we could have stayed longer (forever!). grazie per la vostra accoglienza e ospitalità. è un piacere conoscervi entrambi.
