Really cute little hotel in Sierpe, lovely staff and very close to the docks for everything you need. I might have missed this and didn’t realise we had to take cash for payment. So just FYI for others :) Would happily stay again in future.

We absolutely loved it ! If you're staying at La Muñequita Lodge, you are not just booking a random place to sleep : you are experiencing probably the most authentic and amazing experience in Costa Rica ! You'll be sleeping in a wooden caban, handmade, opened so you'll be litteraly sleeping amoung the flowers, the trees, the birds (red macaws, toucan...) ! Dont worry tho, there's light, fresh water, toilets, a great shower and everything you need ! It's an enchanted garden where you have all the privaty and the calm you'll need ! The hosts are the nicest : they'll be giving you a tour of the farm, you'll be casually learning about local trees, fruits, eating fresh tropical fruits directly from the trees, you'll meet the cows, goats and their babies : if you're lucky enough as we were, you'll be milking the goats, feeding the babies ! Such a precious, magical and unforgettable moment for us... For the dinner, if you want it, they'll cook for you a delicious, consistent local meal, wich you'll be eating at their table, meeting the others tourists : such a precious moment too ! For the breakfast : traditional coffee, pancakes with syrup or if you are not tired of it : pinto gallo :) The pancakes were just delicious ! So close your eyes and book now ! =================== We thank you again for this magical afternoon, evening and morning spent with you ! Relaxing break away. Great stop if your wanting to visit the World Heritage Costarican Spheres. George was an excellent host, giving us loads of info regarding the various archaeological sites which were nearby. Accommodation was excellent. Huge comfy bed, huge bathroom, great kitchen and a balcony we used a lot watching the Macaws in the trees overlooking a beautiful valley. Accomm can comfortably fit 4. Valles of OSA is on top of a hill with a driveway about 30m and easily negotiable in an AWD. We ended up extending our stay to 2 nights. You won’t regret staying here, the views are amazing, hospitality that was extended to us was exceptional and it was definitely value for money. We loved our stay. Do yourself a favour and don’t go past this accommodation!
