Beautiful hotel, with the most stunning views across to volcano arenal. Felt incredibly special to stay there - and the staff were really really lovely. Food was great at the restaurant (we had a lunch and a dinner there - both excellent). Also beautiful gardens with frogs and animals and hummingbirds. Idyllic.

Wonderful view on the Arenal volcano. Whole small house is yours. There is a small lake with a lot of frogs, birds and follower. The local security guy was kind to do a small free night watch of the flora and fauna of the lake. That was great. That nice security guy suggested visiting free hot springs nearby which was an amazing experience. Also, breakfast was very good and I was able to enjoy some local ducks playing outside during breakfast.

The quietest place we stayed so far in Costa Rica. Expansive and we'll landscaped site with many frogs and wildlife to see at night. Great facilities, fast WiFi, and very friendly staff. ( Was helped to serve my wife breakfast in bed as a surprise!)

The view is exceptional, the staff is very nice and the food in the restaraunt is very good. You can order tours to nearby locations and staff will help you managing that. The rooms are pretty basic, but comfortable and they have all one needs to have a relaxing holiday near nature. There is also a cool hiking trail through the jungle thdt circles back to the hotel and a swimming pool with an absolutely amazing view. Big thanks to Natalia and the rest of the crew for making our holiday so special!

The stay was amazing. The little house had everything that you needed. Tha staff was extraordinary. Our son was sick and we got a lot of help. So heartwarming and friendly! The garden and pool area was very nice too. The breakfast was super delicious. The hotel is in perfect reach to all the activities next to the Arenal (f.e. the national park, 1968 park, Zipline, hanging bridges...) and not in the crowded city of La Fortuna.

It's just a fantastic place. During our two-week stay, this was our best accommodation out of 6. The room offers an extraordinary view of the volcano. The neighborhood is very cozy. The place is easily accessible by car, yet far from the noise of the city. It is possible to observe many small birds directly from the terrace.

waking up with a view of El Arenal from your bed with Kolobris in front of your window is out of this world, the staff was very friendly, the breakfast/dinner room perfect for sunrise. the street up to the lodge isn‘t worse that other in monteverde. because some people here scare others: YOU DON‘T NEED AN 4X4, you can manage it up there with compact car if you have to, but i recommend an SUV. i would recommend everybody to stay here while in Monteverde
