We loved everything about the property. The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. There are 2 huge pools with a swim up bar. The hotel is very exclusive and the property surroundings is well maintained. When we got there, we practically had the pool to ourselves. There’s a great variety of snacks. The staff is helpful but not extremely friendly.

The hotel is wonderful. It is a small, boutique hotel with rooms that are good sized and well-appointed. The staff quickly learns your name and how you like things (e.g., when housekeeping comes to the room, how much milk you want in your coffee). All of the employees are very personable and committed to the guests' enjoyment of their stay. The hotel is on a beach, literally, and the sunsets are magnificent. Lots of activities are available directly through the hotel -- we took a sunset cruise and experienced bioluminescence during a magical evening that started and ended right in front of the hotel. Food and service are excellent. By the way, the flan should not be missed!!!

    The resort was nice, pool was refreshing.

    The resort was nice, pool was refreshing. No premium drinks, a bottle of Crown was $90, and only 1 brand of beer. The food at the buffet wasn't the greatest. Fish was dry, salad dressings were odd or just oil and vinegar. One day I had a poached egg and the yolk was hard and the whites were runny. French toast was hard and tough on the outside and soggy on the middle. You could only eat in the specialty restaurants once for every 3 days of stay.

    It’s a beautiful place if you’re looking to relax and enjoy...

    It’s a beautiful place if you’re looking to relax and enjoy sceneries. It’s very Humid there but, worth it. It’s not much of a party place if you’re looking for a younger crowd to hang out and have fun. Also, some of the excursions involve a lot of hiking. So, bring comfortable gym shoes or water shoes.

    We loved the time of year, the rainy season.

    We loved the time of year, the rainy season. There were few travelers, and it was hot but not as hot as the dry season. We did not have trouble getting chairs by the pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful.

    We had two adults and three children and thus needed 2 rooms. We booked for 1 night and they let us stay thru lunch the following day. It was confortable. The pools were large and the children loved it.

    The location is very beautiful and suitable for people looking for a calm or romantic weekend. No more snorkel guided tours due to Covid Overpriced food for the quality that is offered Difficult to reach from San Jose because the roads are in poor state: foresee more than 4 hours drive without traffic Most hotels are overpriced for the quality they offer
