The location on the river and actually in a small archaeological site were fantastic. Food was very good, staff were friendly and helpful. the bed was very comfortable.

An incredible place with an inspiring philosophy. Respect is a key word for this place, respect vis-à-vis nature for sure, but also respect towards local inhabitants of these wonderful mountains.

The surroundings and ambiance, the constant sound of the stream running right next to our open room, the different birds chirping all the time, the loose and relaxed approach of Polo and the rest of the staff, but extremely professional. The food presentation and flavours were marvellous and the chocolate Polo makes, exquisite. And of course Sildo and his helpful donkey.

Our host Angela was a true angel !! She didnt only support me through the whole booking and traveling process she also made our stay an unforgettable adventure! From having breakfast with a panoramic view till the snow topped mountains to nights under the starlit sky falling asleep hearing the mysterious jungle sounds.
