The hotel is in perfect location, close to the metro. Staff is very friendly. In the hall of the building you can find a shop (there are also some around the building). Walking distance to some touristic attractions. The view from our suite was stunning.

One must give high praise to this hotel! From the moment you step into the lobby, you can feel the atmosphere of being at home. Everything was perfect. All of the staff members were very polite, helpful and professional. Especially Ms. Sue, who went out of her way to make our stay even more pleasant. In addition to the great staff, the view from our room was stunning. We were initially facing the back side (nice as well) but requested to be moved to a room facing the front side (view of the horizontal construction and main part of the city). The staff was kind enough to change our room the following morning! Both rooms were very clean and in great condition. Moreover, the lobby which is situated on the 42nd floor, was beautiful. The giant silver crystal and surrounding greenery was a very cool design and pleasant to look at. Finally, the location of the hotel is also great. It is located next to many of the main attractions and in the 'main' part of the city. There is also a large shopping mall in the buildings bellow the lobby known as 'Raffles City'. Overall, I highly recommend staying here and will be sure to stay here again!

Highly recommended! A cozy homestay that feels just like home! The most correct decision I made for this trip to Chongqing was choosing to stay at a mountain-top riverside homestay. From the moment I made the reservation, the landlord was very enthusiastic and sent me a detailed transportation guide and travel tips. The room was exactly the same as the pictures, and even more beautiful! Especially the view of the river outside the window, it was amazing both during the day and at night. The Qiancilin Bridge and Hongyadong were all within sight. Just sitting by the window and daydreaming was a kind of enjoyment. The room is clean and tidy, and the facilities are particularly complete. Even small details like makeup remover pads and hair curlers have been considered. It's really so considerate! The location is also very convenient. It's a short walk to both Hongyadong and Jiefangbei. Next time I come to Chongqing, I will definitely stay here again! I strongly recommend it to all my friends!

    The layout of Chongqing is multi layered so you don't feel like you are in a mega city of 35 million people. Chongqing Dong (east) Railway Station which opened in June 2025 is mega big at 1.22 million square metres; it is still not fully functional eg some lifts and elevators are not operational yet. Also the food shops and coffee shops are still being fitted out. The light rail passing through the residential and retail building at Liziba Station of the Chongqing Rail Transit Line 2 is a must see. The cable car over the Yangtze River (aka Chang Jiang [river]) is OK but you can't see much when the pollution level is above "mild".

    Built on different levels, Chongqing is a pretty cool city.

    Built on different levels, Chongqing is a pretty cool city. Especially at night when all the bridges and buildings turn on their lights. Definitely recommend booking a walking tour of Chongqing with a local guide who will show you places easily missed otherwise. We were only here for a day, but we heard the zoo is really nice here and would have gone if we had more time.

    Amazing City, so much to see.

    Amazing City, so much to see. The buildings, old and new, were interesting to explore. There are so many stunning suspension bridges over the Yangtze river. Things to explore Ciqikou ancient Town, Show 1949 - with English ear piece Liziba Light rail station - inside a residential building Chongqing three gorges museum - mind it's closed on Monday Kuixing Tower - at road level but also at floor 22 on the adjacent hotel Monument of Jiefangbei - contrast of the old and the new Raffles city - the stunning buildings and the shopping mall Hongyadong - traditional food and tourist market - day & night The Grand theatre, pale green in the day but bright pink at night Cathedral Church The city lights at night - I went to the river below the Grand theatre, along with many other domestic tourists. Catching the subway - sky rail is easy & convenient. A travel card costs 25RMB deposit, pass it on once you have finished travelling, and the travel is very cheap. If subway isn't your thing, use Amap App to navigate and hail a DD or Uber using the App. Again, very reasonably priced, clean and well organized system. Finally, just chill, grove with the locals, look at the small but unexpected interesting aspects of the city and people watch.

    Absolutley LOVE Chongqing!

    Absolutley LOVE Chongqing! The people are sooo friendly, the new generation speak English and understand foreigners, unlike some past the age of 55 years old. Food everywhere! 24 hour shops....perfect city and kind people.

    subways good about $2RMB, food there is perfect really yummy food Hongna cave is a big rip off 11 stories of noise constantly trying to get you to buy photes. Looks great from outsde I would not go back. daughter was reduced to tears being forced to pay a scammer.. we toom a two hour fairy ride cost about 800RMB for six of us.. got it from warf 7 Raffels Hotel great two awasome photos comfortable ride

    This gorgeous hotel was my favourite from my entire trip through China. The owner is exceptionally kind and even gave excellent recommendations for local food. The rooms are immaculate and beautifully designed. Everything was incredibly comfortable and every little detail (free tea, snacks etc) just added to the overall cosy feeling. The bathtub helped me relax after a long day exploring the city. It’s a very convenient location for exploring Chongqing, just a 2-minute walk for a taxi or a bit longer for the metro.

    The stuff was really kind and helpful! As our portable chargers weren’t charging for some reason in our room, they offered it to charge it for us. They were also always reachable on their WeChat account for any question, which I find really cool and convenient. Room itself was clean and very spacious, with a beatiful view on the city of Chongqing. You won’t regrer if you choose this hotel for your stay in Chongqing.
