This hotel is a real gem. The location is perfect. The neighborhoods Cerro Allegre and Cerro Conception are right at your doorstep. All staff were super attentive,very friendly and had great tips for us. Someone was available 24/7. The place felt very safe (always locked). The breakfast on the rooftop terrace was made to order with a lot of love. The view from up there is stunning. The rooms are very clean.

Loved our stay! The hotel's location in Cerro Alegre was perfect for exploring the vibrant neighborhood with its colorful houses, amazing street art, and the hipster vibe of Cerro Alegre. We enjoyed wandering around and discovering hidden gems. We were captivated by the hotel's unique blend of vintage charm and modern comfort. The interior design was exceptionally well-thought-out. Also the breakfast was a highlight – the fresh eggs with avocado and freshly pressed juice were amazing.

There is a reason this place is so highly rated. The views are the best in Valparaiso and there is a kitchen you can use as well as parking. The host even let me use their laundry machine. We had a fantastic stay.

everything. but most specifically the team at Augusta just tends to all the little details. awesome little cafe recommendations to letting us check out super late as they had no upcoming reservations and doing their best to tend to your needs and be helpful. lastly, they had a really beautiful view that we woke up to.

Great location in Valparaiso, great decor, comfortable bed and room, the pool is good to cool off in, the outside patio has great views. We enjoyed many bottles of wine bought at the hotel outside enjoying the spectacular views from the garden patio. Loved our stay.

We love the location, the decoration, the wonderful breakfast, everything was perfect. Paula was an amazing host. We had the top floor, which had an amazing view of all of the day. The shower and towels and everything was really comfortable. Totally recommended.

    We were in Valparaiso for three nights, and we could have...

    We were in Valparaiso for three nights, and we could have spent more time looking over the city. We took a trip around the area in the rental car, and with more time, we could have revisited some of the interesting places we drove through. There is a lot to see along the coast. We found good coffee and tasty food being served at Tallers Cafe, and could have made it our local. We didn't see many of the attractions, as we spent time wandering around the city, looking at the street art.

    Valparaiso is bohemian in a rough way, great to stroll around Cerro Alegre and concepcion for a couple of days. A constant smell of human urine and dog shit. ( not so bad in the 2 Cerros mentioned but the rest ....;(.....the lower part of the city is an example when a city is left to decay. One can only imagine the grandeur ( long gone ) of Valpo 100 years ago.

    They say you love or hate Valparaiso.

    They say you love or hate Valparaiso. The street art and walking is fantastic for those with sturdy hiking legs. You are constantly lost which takes you to surprising new spots. The food and drinks and views from dining terraces is superb

    The highlight of our visit to Valparaiso was a private city...

    The highlight of our visit to Valparaiso was a private city tour by Fernanda (walking_tour_valpo) who spent a very enjoyable three hours with us describing the history and development of this colourful city .... and sharing her extensive and intimate knowledge of the public art that adorns the city.

    The city has some lovely spots such as the terrace around...

    The city has some lovely spots such as the terrace around Palacio Baburizza. I had dinner in Restorán Capri and Gran Sazón Nazca and the food was great. The major disadvantage are the safety issues. One should watch out for pickpockets and avoid walking outside after dark. Some streets in Valparaiso are also very dirty.

    Karen (the host) is outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. She gave us lots of local tips such as cafes & restaurants that proved to be fantastic. She was always available to be contacted and went out of her way to assist. Pilar (another lady at reception was also wonderful. Small boutique hotel in handy part of tourist Valparaiso; huge rooms; breakfast delivered to your door; great advice given. Good wifi.

    This hotel is full of colour and character. It is well located, has great views from its two terraces and the helpful and informative staff make it a very special place in a city that grows on you quickly. Valparaíso has many restaurants with mouth watering menus and not just graffiti but colourful art all over its walls.
