Loved this hotel and would happily stay again. The location in Solothurn's old town is perfect, the breakfast was comprehensive and delicious (as was the dinner in the restaurant), and the modern amenities had a traditional flare which was very appealing. Staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, and overall it was a great experience.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gasthof Enge Self Check-In Hotel and I can honestly say it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and well-maintained. The hotel’s location is perfect – it’s in a quiet area, but still close to key attractions. The view from my room was absolutely stunning, and I spent several mornings just relaxing. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast – it had a wide variety of fresh options, from fruits and pastries to hot dishes. The quality of the food was top. Overall, my experience was exceptional. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and will definitely be returning on my next trip!

The room was very clean, spacious, well-lit, and comfortable. Completely new renovation in very old building. Quiet at night and no church bells ringing every hour. Never heard a churchbell even thought it is next to the old church. Bathroom was also very clean with L'Occitaine body wash and shampoo - a nice luxurious touch! The breakfast was very good, plentiful with lots of choices. The dinner also excellent with high-quality ingredients. Would definately stay here again. Hotel and restaurant staff very polite and accommodating to our needs in the rooms and the restaurant. I can highly recommended this hotel.

    It’s strategically located between Bern and Basel. The mountainous setting adds a special effect and there is a parking lot too. The town is small and there’s a supermarket to buy some food. The room has everything including a functioning kitchen. It’s clean and spacious. You won’t get the space in a hotel. Heater and hot water were also working. Communication with owner was also good.

    Good value, quiet self catering accomodation. Good local train connection to Solothurn and Oensingen. Also just a couple of minutes off motorway if travelling by car. Wiedlisbach has a supermarket, three restaurants ( Rebstock is good, but closed Mon/Tue). Also some walks and cycling into pre-Jura easily accessible I have stayed before
