Amazing staff, always ready to help and keep smiling. Would love to go back again, just because of rhe place, the hotel and the staff!! The breakfast was in general good, but I usually get bored of eating the same stuff everyday. So a bit of variety to add will be a bonus.

    The location was very good with lovely views all around and...

    The location was very good with lovely views all around and it was easy to get to the next village, Zweisimmen, which had a cable car so we could go walking high up in the mountains. There is also an impressive waterfall a few miles down the road that is worth visiting. St Stephan itself is a modest sized village but quite picturesque around the church area.

    Mattihus is very comfortable with everything needed to self cater. Tamara is a great host. Very friendly and helpful. The views are great and the area is very quiet of an evening. Convenient for the Bakery and the hotel Adler.
