Stayed here for one night but wish we could’ve stayed longer! The area is quiet, charming, and conveniently located. The staff were all welcoming and nice, the room was very clean, and the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in! We also ate at the restaurant which was cozy and delicious. What a great stay, thank you Hotel Sternen!

We arrived after our long hike in the evening when market was already closed with no food. The host saved our lives by having noodles and drinks available. We were so happy! Also the house is very nicely recently renovated with style and clean.

An amazing apartment in a quiet village. It was spacious, clean, well-equipped for a long stay, with comfortable beds and a mountain view. The host was exceptional, helping us with everything, providing clear instructions on how to find the apartment, answering our questions promptly and even leaving us a welcome present (much appreciated). Exceptional location and facilities, you can find everything that you need at the house. It was very pleasant stay and the host is the most welcoming person. Would definitely recommend and would like to return.

    Nice place.

    Nice place. I used it for an overnight stop, whilst continuing the next day to Italy. It is clean, price is right, nothing special. Price and quality match, people are friendly. I phoned in advance to check how to find it, the owner explained this to me clearly and in a friendly way. Not far from the highway, next morning I was in 10 minutes back on it.

    Beautiful location with amazing views in the mountains, not far from Wassen. The room was cosy and warm Woke up to the sound of cow bells in the grazing area around the hotel, blissful. Staff were very friendly and the evening meal and breakfast were both very good. Very good value for money for Switzerland.

    We spontaneously decided to stay at this hotel to be near Andermatt to go up in the morning to ski. Andermatt was fairly full and expensive. The hotel was very good value for money and it was only 15 mins drive to Andermatt. Large room with nice view over the mountain. Nice breakfast. Welcoming staff.

    Great location en-route to Italy from the north. Great for an early start through the Gotthard Tunnel. Beautiful surroundings and quiet street. Friendly staff, excellent beds and animal friendly hotel (travelling with 2 cats).

    A lovely little hotel. The lady owner couldn't be more helpful. Service is exceptional. It is in a rural setting but I knew that and indeed appreciated it. So peaceful with amazing views.
