Lovely small hotel in the center of Osco. They had just opened when we stayed here. Everything is frehsly renovated inside and old house. Lots of charm and little details. The staff is young, innovative and very friendly. You could feel that they are still figuring things out, but if something was missing a quick ask with one of the staff memebers and it was solved. We had a lovely dinner with homemade pasta and tiramisu. Breakfast was small but had everything we needed. The rooms are small but modern and comfortable. Can fully recommend a stay here.

The hosts were amazing people, they gave us fresh chess-nut Jam which was homemade and their dogs were very adorable. The property was well maintained with everything what a tourist needs. They spoke to us like family.

Very pleasant to get in contact and exchange expectations (arrival, key, etc.). Location close to motorway to use as a stop over and beautifully located in the mountains with calm and nice atmosphere. Clean and equipped with all the stuff you need for a longer stay as well.

Amazing authentic house with everything you would need to feel like home. Amazing location, beautiful mountains and waterfall view just outside of the window. 10 minutes walk to the waterfall and hiking area in the beautiful forest and mountains. Supermarket, Pizza places 10 minutes walk maximum. Easy check in/ check out. Parking space just in front of the house. Very helpful hosts. I put 10 points without any hesitation and wish I will stay at this lovely house and location again.

The simplicity of check in using codes to enter the house and room. The rooms are newly renovated (Aug 2025) with an excellent bed and shower/bathroom. Loved my stay. Highlight was having supper in the villages Restaurant Osteria Salzi (village square). Would recommend both to anyone hiking through on the Strada Alta and the Trans Swiss Route (Nr 2).

    The town is cute and this hotel is well placed in the middle of town. Parking is at a free lot about 100m walk away. Our room had a shared bathroom which was OK. The restaurant associated with the hotel is fine but not amazing food (and pretty small portions). Wifi was consistent and usable. Pretty standard hotel.

    Good breakfast. Short walk to local waterfall which was well worth a visit to cool us down on a hot day. Faido was cooler than Tuscany had been, so it didn't matter too much that there was no air-conditioning. .
