Picturesque mountain village, some houses date from 1400’s. Spectacular hill walking, hiking. Good footpaths. Switzerland is expensive but this area is worth a visit. Beautiful views, peaceful place with charming houses. We took long walks around Ernen and in neighboring towns. We used car service from Lake Como to Ernen and did the same from Ernen to Interlaken.
