Truro is a charming town. It was just what we liked, the pace was relaxed and we had access to all the amenities we needed. We dined at the N & C. Which we enjoyed very much. It was so lovely taking a morning walk in Victoria park which is close to Abide Within B&B where we stayed upon arrival and departure to Truro. Excellent service and great ambiance. Our overall experience was excellent. Thank you!

Be sure to go to Burncoat Provincial Park (about 30 min away) and walk on the ocean floor during low tide. We went to Captain Murphy's for dinner - staff was great and food was good. Fish was well cooked. It was raining most of the time we were there so we didn't tour the town much

The fact that we could walk to a restaurant not far from the Inn rather than drive was great. It was a perfect walking distance. Wait staff were pleasant and lobster rolls were the best we have ever had. The cheesecake we had was delicious. The Nook and Cranny had the option to eat in or on the patio. Lovely evening so we opted to sit out.This morning had a great walk in Victoria Park and the people who work there were polite and friendly.

We flew from Calgary to Halifax then drove to Truro for one night before departing early the next morning for our destination in New Brunswick. Truro was a convenient overnight stop. We did not spend time much time in Truro.

This accommodation has so many heavy locked doors! I didn't feel like being in a motel, I felt like being in a clean dungeon without a fridge or a kitchen to have some hot water or warm up a food.... I don't recommend it to anyone!

Truro's Victoria Park is a wonderful place. The town has great restaurants and is easy to navigate. The people are friendly and helpful. The roads could use a little work on them. Thai Express and Mezza where good for tasty fast food. The British Cafe was great with very friendly staff and you could take your dog to the outdoor patio.
