The city is very walkable with water views, grassy parks, extended boardwalk. There is entertainment everywhere from musical street performers, buskers drawing in the crowds, and artists selling their craft. There are several unique shops for arts, food, home accessories and clothing.

My wife and I love Quebec City.

My wife and I love Quebec City. We had our honey moon here 45 years ago so we came to celebrate our 45th anniversary. The food is simply amazing. The tour was interesting and informative as this place held a lot of history. I would highly recommend Quebec City for anyone who love French cuisine. It’s like eating in France without ever leaving the country.

My wife and I commented to each other that the city felt like a mini Paris. The narrow winding streets, sidewalk cafes, shops and french speaking people. We loved visiting the Chateau Frontenac, Plains of Abraham, and taking photographs - it is a quaint and beautiful city.

We loved the facility - very quiet, clean so accessibile to touring the old city within the walls. We walked everywhere - about 10 km per day. We ate at Albacore and Paillard, took the fuiculaire, saw almost all the highlights and the weather was perfect!

Quebec City over exceeded our expectations.

Quebec City over exceeded our expectations. It is so beautiful and the people are so friendly and helpful. We don't speak French and were concerned it would be difficult to get by with no French. It was not at all awkward. Everyone was so understanding and helpful. We will definitely be back again.

This is a city where you do not need a car.

This is a city where you do not need a car. Even with a small problem walking we were able to go most places. We used the funicular three times and a taxi once. It has lots of great restaurants, historical sites, great shopping and a lot of interesting culture. We thoroughly enjoyed two exhibits at the Musee des Beaux Arts. I would recommend taking the on off bus at the start to get your bearings! It is a city you really want to visit again! Our favorite place for dinner was Rioux and Pettigrew. The meal was delicious and the staff lots of fun and very helpful.

Lovely clean, well equipped, and comfortable apart-hotel. Plenty of room to "relax" after a day exploring Quebec City including booking own meals occasionally. However that isn't essential either - a couple of streets over are some good bars and eateries. Location is very convenient if coming by train/coach - isn't in the old city itself which does mean it's a walk (uphill!) of around 15 minutes to the Old town or similar distance (at least flat) to the old port.

The room was spacious, clean, warm and convenient. We caught the train to Quebec City and it was a 20 minute flat walk to the hotel. It was also near the bus to go out to Montcerency Falls, as well as the old town. There was also a good supermarket one block over which was handy. It was a lovely stay and I would recommend it when visiting Quebec City.

Our room was spotless. The beds/bedding/air con combination made for excellent nights’ sleeps. The location is fantastic-right in the heart of the old town. Parking our rental car at the city hall car park as suggested by the hotel was very easy (it’s very close).
