A nice, cozy hotel with a very convenient location in the city centre, within a walking distance from the railway station. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were delicious. I’m especially grateful to the team for quickly retrieving and sending me the items I accidentally left behind in my room. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay.

No complaints at all. It’s a beautiful city. The people were amazingly friendly. If I had any disappointment it was however much I wanted to try my French, people were quick to switch English and provide English menus. While I needed that at times, I would have liked the challenge.

Great city full of history.

Great city full of history. Restaurants very pricey, especially in the old city. I would have expected the prices to be lower especially in the shoulder season. However, Quebec City is the closest to being in Europe while still in Canada. It is beautiful and historic.

We stayed in the city from a Wednesday - Sunday and it was the perfect amount of time to see and do what we had hoped for. The city is stunning, full of quaint European charm and very easy to navigate! The "hop on hop off" bus tour was a great choice for the first day to get a feel for the area, and then plot our things to see and do from there. Chateau Frontenac is even more spectacular in person than I imagined and while it was way out of our price range to stay there, it was lovely to eat a casual lunch in the bistro. Our inn was located in easy proximity to the Plains of Abraham which was so beautiful! We could easily walk and even run in the huge park with incredible views overlooking the city. We also toured the parliament building (for free!) and were very impressed by the building and self-guided tour.
