I had planned to just spend the night so that was perfect. Quiet, scenic town. Had dinner at the Red Cap Restaurant - cesar salad, glass of wine and cheesecake for desert. Cheesecake so so, not homemade.

We stayed during an unusually wet period in mid-July.
We stayed during an unusually wet period in mid-July. It was very foggy early morning and late night, so we were unable to see much of a view. However, we got a few glimpses in, and it was very cool looking in the lowlands of Nova Scotia, particularly in Lower East Pubnico where we stayed. The landscape is very different in all six regions of N.S. With only 2 days to get in what we could, we were very surprised at how warm and welcoming the native people are and how beautiful the province is. We want to come back to see more and possibly travel north to New Foundland as well. We met a group of bikers on the C.A.T. back from N.S. to Maine and they told us so may stories about the way of life in N.S. and N.F. it will make you want to live there. Truely an amazing province and amazing people too.

I actually grew up on this property.
I actually grew up on this property. The cottage owner purchased the land from my family years ago. I was thrilled to find out about the cottages being there. It was so special for me to stay there on the land that I lived on as a child. It was perfect and myself and my family will definitely book again in the future.

The Lodge is located in a remote area on Lobster bay. The view of the sunset from the large back porch was amazing. We ate at the on-site restaurant and it was one of our best meals in Nova Scotia during our entire vacation. The room as comfortable with a queen bed. The lighting in the room could have been better. We did not have breakfast, but they offered a full breakfast at 18.00 CAN per person. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Location was perfect. Beautiful view right on the water. Cottage was clean, roomy and nicely decorated. Just what we needed for our stay in Nova Scotia. Having access to a full kitchen and laundry room was great! Would highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful Lodge, wonderful owners, quiet location. The lodge was located right on a quiet by. It was a wonderful way to start our tour of Nova Scotia after taking the ferry from Bar Harbor, ME to Yarmouth, NS.

Friendly host, beautiful location and spacious en suite room. Delicious made to order breakfast. Welcomed our pet and good space to dog walk. Fine option for Pubnico or if you don't want to be in Yarmouth.
