    We only had 2 days in the area and wanted a central location...

    We only had 2 days in the area and wanted a central location and New Minas was perfect. Wolfville is just down the road & there were several places to visit there (Grand Pre, Tangled Gardens) but found it too crowded and busy. The second day was spent visiting small towns (Kentville, Port Williams, Centreville, Canning) in the country side (cheese stores, craft breweries, antique shops as well as the Bay of Fundy. Drove to Hall's Harbour for supper (lobster roll) and were home before dark. It's easy to get around New Minas and area and this motel is on the main strip where all the usual restaurants are and Tim Horton's is just across the street.

    It was cozy and warm with a very serene view over the lake. I sat on the deck and watched the sunrise most mornings. Dog friendly, well-appointed and clean. Also - very nice neighbors. WIFI was excellent. Just a 15 minute drive to Wolfville or New Minas.

    This place has always been a great hotel. The location is perfect, and everything is within walking distance. It is my go-to hotel every time I come home to visit.

    The room had a very comfortable bed & the shower was great. The hotel was very clean, bright & spacious. Loved the help yourself coffee machine in reception.
