We enjoyed walking around the town and visiting local restaurants etc. This is the centre of some of the best riding in B.C. (bicycle and motorcycle), which is what drew us there.
PS: I disagree with the property rating: I would give it 5/5.

I loved to stay at this property and enjoy coffee on the deck in the middle of nature. The walk to Kaslo was very nice. We did not need the car to explore Kaslo.
The owner was fantastic and told us about hiking trails and waterfalls. We did the River and Strawberry ridge hike (beautiful views) and drove to Fletcher falls.
Everythibg was perfect.

Overlooking mainstreet was entertaining. Enjoyed coffee on the deck while the town was waking up. The other side would have a stunning view of lake & mountains.
Breakfast across the street at the Corked Fork is recommended. Lunch and dinner at the hotel was delicious.
The staff are helpful and friendly.

It is a brilliant modern hotel bout is a heritage style. Beautifully furnished exceptional staff and good food. Comfy bed. Lived the roof top hot tub. In the centre of Kaslo so great for exploring.
Philipine was a friendly, attentive host. Nothing was too much trouble. The rustic cabin was very clean and suited us perfectly. Great location for Kaslo, 15 minutes walk by the lakeshore
