    The Johnstown Motel was everything I needed. I arrived very late (right around midnight) and the owner greeted me and was really very helpful. I was so grateful. The room was comfortable and I slept very well; location was perfect for my needs, and I appreciated the very reasonable price, too. Thank you!

    The view of the river made up for the basic lodging. Very basic accommodations, but rooms were clean and staff was very friendly. It did the job for a one night stay, we had 3 rooms and were in town for my son’s SUNY college graduation but all NY hotels were booked.

    We really enjoyed our time at Johnstown Motel. Beautiful scenery, comfortable room, very comfortable beds and warm blankets! Recycling boxes and the room got cleaned while we were out We will definitely be back again! Worth it 100%

    The owners were very nice and considerate. For example we arrived late and she had already turned on the air conditioning so our room was comfortable when we arrived. There was a lovely area behind the hotel too.
