Absolutely an excellent stay at such a unique location, that I don't know anywhere in the states you could find. Super clean, large suites, with friendly staff, even with our very late check in. Downtown location is perfect, many small stores and sight seeing / parks with in walking distance, including a brewery, coffee, book store and banking locations.

By far the best motel I stayed in. Room was very clean, everything well maintained, the bed was comfortable, the staff was very friendly, no bad smells in the building. I had a very relaxing night.

    Wasn't much going on in town when I was there.

    Wasn't much going on in town when I was there. Went to a beach about a 40 min. drive from there in a place called Erieau. However changerooms and washrooms were locked. Didn't spend as much time as i could have. Went to another place called Wheatley another 45 mins. Biting flies on the beach!

    We used Chatham as a base for driving to other local...

    We used Chatham as a base for driving to other local communities. The road transportation links were excellent. Dining downtown was a bit of hit and miss as it is not a very welcoming area. We found two really good ice cream shops for after dinner treats and Teena's Restaurant - across the street from the Comfort Inn - served great food at very reasonable prices.

    Where I was working the motel was only 9 minutes away,...

    Where I was working the motel was only 9 minutes away, everything was in close proximity to the motel, very friendly staff, nice morning breakfast, nice motel room and I asked for a wake up call every morning and got it, would recommend it to everyone, no issues at all.

    Economic situation seems not very healthy.

    Economic situation seems not very healthy. Largest employers have gone ; ie Harvester - Quite a few folks living in tents at the River - the rents have jumped so high, so fast (not morally right) that folks were forced out. The River park is lovely - with the exception of the above - and these folks have to have some place! We drove to ErieEau for the Art on the Boulevard - most pleasant day - at least 2 good restaurants - beach is great - accessible mats laid on sand (wheelchairs, etc.).

    It is a beautiful little city. with many amenities.

    It is a beautiful little city. with many amenities. We ate at Mama Maria's and it was the best Italian food we have ever eaten. It was a short walk from our hotel. There was music and drinks also nearby.

    The Hotel is super amazing and the rooms are so cool!! I have stayed there 5 times now and every time I have been in a room I just can't believe is in Chatham, On. Highly recommend going!! Also the CORK restaurant is very good!!

    The location isn’t the best area in the city but honestly it’s Chatham, we felt safe our car wasn’t damaged and not broken into, breakfast was more than I expected. Great value for the stay.
