CanadaThis was a very good room. I had to spend an entire month there due to a house fire, and the entire experience was absolutely stress free. The owners are very hospitable and polite, and made me feel very welcome.
The location is a short walk from downtown Sackville. It's not as far out as it may seem at first. There is also an interesting waterfowl park nearby.
I would ignore any negative reviews. Some people like to cause issues. 🙄 Mosquitoes may be an issue in the summer, but an Off mosquito coil lit up outside the room door took care of that issue for me. Sackville IS on the edge of a marsh. Mosquitoes will happen in the summer.

I enjoyed having a clean room with a nice view of a courtyard. Accommodations were more than adequate for my needs and the host was very pleasant . Amherst is wonderfully located for numerous day trips in central Nova Scotia - day trips along the Northumberland shore and along the Bay of Fundy are both easy. Not to be missed is the guided tour at the Joggins Fossil Cliffs. A stop at Deanne Fitzpatrick Studios should be a mandatory stop - the artistic rug hooking is awe-inspiring.
