A excellent option close to everything in Tupiza. Everything was as advertised. Staff are very service-oriented & helpful, the breakfast is very good & the wifi is one of the best (speed & stability) I've come across travelling in South America.

The flat is great, modern, safe and with a perfect localisation. The owner has been absolutly nice from the beggining till the end. Trully in Tupiza, complicated to find something better for that price.

The housekeeper welcomed us after midnight, the room, beds and restrooms were perfect...! And the hostel was only 5 mins walking from the bus terminal, which was very practical !

The hotel is absolutely spotless - cleanest hotel I've ever been in! The room is a good size, with beautiful hot showers. The location is excellent, very close to the bus station (and not far from the train station, either), and close to the centre of town. Sylvia (and her daughter) are so lovely, and do everything they can to give advice, and to help in any way they can. Sylvia can also recommend and arrange tours. The breakfast is delicious (Sylvia makes it for you, fresh) and Sylvia was even kind enough to make breakfast for us earlier, on our last day, when we had to check-out extra early.

Everything was brilliant with our stay at refugio del turista. They were very accommodating, allowing us to check in late and stay and use the pool after checking out before our nightbus. The breakfast was very nice and very filling too, and also went from 7 - 9:30 which meant you didn't have to be up too early to enjoy it. The hostel is in a great location in town near the big markets and lots of street food. It was also very clean, comfortable and tidy, so would definitely reccomend to anyone for a stay in Tupiza.

    My room was not available the day I came and the receptionist rent me another room in a hostel next to Hotel la Torre. I liked this initiative! Moreover, the horse tour was not available during my stay and the staff helped me to visit the village of Suipacha where I had the chance to see a Military commemoration of the town of Suipacha. The staff also prepared the tour to Uyuni which was also great.

    Everything was perfect! The rooms were clean, comfortable bed, nice hot shower with good stream, spacious bathroom compared to what we are used in Bolivia, super friendly people, honest shop downstairs and really nice breakfast. There is a nice rooftop where you can enjoy the view, but there are no chairs or tables. The location is a bit further from the center, but we knew this beforehand.

    We liked the 24 hour reception and also the staff were really helpful. Good breakfast included and rooms were spacious. Communal area was great and location was central. Good stay for 1 night in tupiza.
