Very friendly and helpful personnel, tasty dinner at the restaurant, availability of swimming pool and wellness, nature and good air quality outside of the hotel, clean and spacious room (feels very new), close to Monschau and Luxemburg, play area outside the hotel for kids (no fence, so supervision required).

Friendly Billy and Bolly (dogs) will welcome you. The owners of the lovely house who used to live in the city, have moved here to enjoy the country life. The cozy guest room is located upstairs. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. If the weather is fine, you can have breakfast there. Sauna, jacuzzi (bathing suit required), billiards, darts, etc. are available. To find out how they built such a wonderful house, stay there and ask them.

Had a positively lovely experience staying at De Horizon. The very spacious, comfy room, the delicious freshly made breakfast, the warm and welcoming couple who run the B&B, the proximity to major walking trails and the ease of access are some of the reasons why I intend to stay here again sometime. I was travelling with a pet (which I had discussed and cleared with the venue prior to booking), and he was also very warmly received and hosted, which was a major plus on top of everything else listed above.

The hosts were wonderful, everything feels very home-like. The location is beautiful and the breakfast with home-grown berries and eggs from their own chickens was lovely. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi after a long day walking.

Excellent view of the surroundings. Close to the büttgenbach lake and lots of hikes to do in the environment. Sauna and jacuzzi were welcome after a day of walking and nice and cozy room.

    Quite village with lots of snow for beginners to practice walking in ski gear and kids to enjoy. Thick forests nearby for those hikes in the woods. Restaurants and stores available in 10 mins drive for your shopping needs and hunger craves.
