One of the standout features for me was the strategic location of the hotel in the city center. What a delightful place that far exceeded my expectations. The hotel is in a great location in that it is on a quiet side street in the old town but just meters away from the action. The room (named Michael) was enormous and comfortable. The owner was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout my stay. Highly recommend!

I booked a room without breakfast, but the next morning, I wanted to have a coffee before leaving. So I ordered and when I asked to pay, the girl at the reception said that it was fine - a small attention, as she put it. Sometimes, small things, like a morning coffee served for free, could make one’s day. Big thanks and if I ever come back to Leuven, I will try to book the same hotel.

The Ladeuze was a great little hotel. The location was an easy walk to the Hauptbahnhof and to the city center. It was much quieter than I thought it was be, the street outside was busy, but became quiet later in the evening. It was also an easy walk to the old city center. The breakfast was very good and the staff friendly and helfpful. It was a wonderful little place.

    Such a great city that shouldn't be overlooked when planning your visit to Belgium. Has such a nice college city vibe to it that was a nice alternative to the very touristy vibes of Bruges and Brussels.

    The medieval buildings were beautiful and everywhere was so clean. There were lots of restaurants with excellent food and good service. It was easy to get around walking and with our hired car. We also visited Waterloo battlefield and museum south of Brussels which was very interesting. The whole trip was excellent.

    Leuven is a University City and has so much history.

    Leuven is a University City and has so much history. They were celebrating 600 years of University while I was there. The town hall figurines are so interesting and so is the architecture of most of the buildings. It's easy to get around and so much to see.

    Nice cafes and restaurants. Interesting architecture- including the churches inside. The museum is worth a short visit, and the jazz Monday nights at a pub was appealing, though I didn't make that.

    I stay in Leuven for work regularly, but it never gets...

    I stay in Leuven for work regularly, but it never gets boring. there are so many nice restaurants and shops in the center . The old buildings like the city hall are a marvel in their own right. Easy access via train or by car, plenty of parking, sometimes even free outside the city ring with free shuttle buses. Definitely worth a visit, get a belgium pint on the central market square and just admire the view!!

    Location was perfect. Short walk to the railway station and the historic centre. Lots of shops, restaurants and cafes around. My room was large and had a lovely street view. It's an older style hotel, but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and I would choose this hotel to stay at again in Leuven
