I liked the rural setting and the fresh air most of all.
I liked the rural setting and the fresh air most of all. However coming a close second was the welcome and the hiking and biking amenities. The village of Burg Reuland is historic, scenic and friendly. There is an old castle and a beautiful church. There are small windy streets and several places that you can get a drink or coffee. There is an excellent tourist and cultural centre staffed by Vanessa and Maria, both of whom are knowledgeable, multilingual and very helpful. There is a hiking, biking RAVeL that runs through the village coming from EUPEN and heading deep into Luxembourg countryside. There is good food and wine and cold beer from the tap. Lovely room, very peaceful and surprisingly the building with the big ‘hotel’ sign is just that …… Evening meal here is exceptional as is the great choice of Belgian beers.
