Stayed at Wangaratta motor inn, staff friendly , rooms clean and comfortable beds. Friday night we had Indian from next door Mr Kurry. The food was delicious. Saturday night we had dinner at the RSL. Great location to base yourself.
Great location to base yourself. Easy travel to Beechworth, Milawa (Brown Brothers Winery). Some great restaurants and cafés, some lovely old buildings and churches. We had a fantastic meal at Rinaldo’s and we enjoyed excellent coffee at Pauli's Cafe.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Excellent cafe's and restaurants around the town with some hidden gems. great walks to the hidden waterfalls, award-winning wineries, quaint villages, delicious local produce, and vibrant events in a rural city. The room is small but big enough for 2 people, we could park our car right outside our place, so that was convenient. Amenities were all super clean and tidy, the shower is quite small though.
