The price is good and and view is so amazing with the beautiful blue ocean . The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown Kangaroo island Thank you Dhea and Family for an excellent stay. You guys were professional in every way. Accommodation and food was of the highest standard specially the Dinner that is so amazing and a wonderful experience for us. The town had everything we needed for the trip, including a...

The town had everything we needed for the trip, including a couple of fabulous op shops/book shops. We found the short way into town from the property and explored the coast in both directions, in addition to our longer day trips to different parts of the island. We divided the island into chunks - it only takes an hour to get to the other end - and did north coast one day, south coast another, Penneshaw and surrounds another, and Flinders Chase (twice), plus one day to look around Kingscote itself. The supermarket is great; the takeaway restaurant fine, we didn't do fine dining but it's there if you want it.

Great place to visit if you love nature,birds,Kangaroo’s,echidna,Eagles and you must visit RAPTOR DOMAIIN an amazing bird show and small zoo.There are a few good wineries,a gin distillery,and a great beer brewery as well.The remarkable Rocks annd Admirals Arch are a must see and lighthouses with amazing sea views tthat go on forever.

Kangaroo Island is big and you need transport to see all of the sites and attractions. Kingscote is reasonably central to everything but is 45 minutes drive from the ferry terminal. We covered most of the main tourist sites, though we were there in winter and some businesses were closed. We liked the relaxed pace and the quiet roads.

It was easy to travel around the island.

It was easy to travel around the island. Remarkable Rocks and the Arch are well worth a visit. The Raptor Park and the sand dunes are great. We ate at the Queenscliff Hotel each evening. Good meals at reasonable prices.

Kangaroo Island is the perfect island to see, and Kingscot is the largest town on the island, with all the facilities. Although it closes early on weekends, it doesn't spoil the experience of this fascinating island safari and almost perfect beach walking experience

A great little town to base at with central location and many great places to eat. Good IGA- type store (Drakes) for supplies. Surprisingly good bookshop with coffee + lovely resident dog. Good esplanade walk and local history sites within walking distance. The best tidal pool area I have seen . KI has an amazing coastline, good food and wine. Kingscore is a great holiday destination for both families and those who want peace and quiet.

Lovely properly in a really good locations in Kingscote. We really appreciated how well facilitated the kitchen is, after a couple of months of traveling having a fully equipped kitchen to make your own meals in is a fantastic luxury and we loved that a cool box was provided to take lunch out to some of the beautiful locations on Kangaroo Island.

Very well equipped. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Excellent position as we could walk everywhere in Kingscote. Nice wide driveway. Heaters in every room a bonus. Having a radio in the dining room was a nice touch so we could have music with our meals.
