Rooms fitted out to a high standard and excellent value for money considering it costs the the same as other pretty standard run of the mill hotels. Only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Don’t miss breakfast at Rosie’s next door which was also exceptional. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I was in Goulburn.

We enjoyed everything about our stay at Mercure Goulburn and don’t have anything negative to say about it. Would highly recommend to anyone. My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous meal at Ban Thai Goulburn where the service was friendly and promptly served, and very reasonably priced. The size of the suite was a pleasant surprise, it was well appointed with toaster, microwave, jug and even a coffee machine, with ample coffee pods and teabags. A/C operation was quiet, warming the room nicely. Only down side was, why have such a short shower screen when a little longer would stop the floor outside the enclosure becoming wet. Maintenance to the towel rack, replacing the missing rails , correcting these two minor issues would have rated our stay as excellent. Our stay was in July 2025.Guest review byLynneAustralia - 10

The architecture and historical value of the visit was so interesting and informative! We ate at both the workers Club and the Soldiers Club, both excellent and meals and staff were excellent! We went to a Brandenburg concert at the St Peter & Paul’s Old Cathedral, a magnificent 19th Century church constructed from green stone/diorite porphyrite, the only one of such in AU. It also housed the only unaltered William Hill organ in Australia. Great venue and acoustic was wonderful.
