Westerndorf itself is very nice and quiet, not the most lively place I've been to, so wouldn't recommend it if you are young people looking for parties... My main issue was that the entire ski area is not great. It's considered the second largest in Austria, but it's pretty low, and global warming means that the snow there is terrible (even in February). Most of the pistes were too short for my liking and not great. We ended up running away to Kitzbuhel the next day, and it was much betterGuest review byRonIsrael - 10.0

We spent most of our time on the ski slopes, which were vast and, well kept and fun to ski on. We loved to have lunch in the mountain, although quite a few restaurants in the town were nice too. It's a small enough town so it's easily navigated. We loved the skiing as a family but would love to return in summer, as it looks like their summer outdoor lifestyle would be great for us too.Guest review byNicholasIreland - 10.0

The ski area is vast and Westendorf is one of the prettiest towns I’ve ever visited. Some lovely restaurants and bars. So much choice on the mountain of where to eat and drink also.
