MIttersill is not a big town, but it sits in the middle of an amazing area full of mountain views, castles, and amazing hiking especially if you use the many, many ski lifts in the area to get up into the mountains. Location gives easy access to Kitzbuhel, Grossglockner Pass, and numerous parks and beautiful hiking areas. Recommend staying out of town in the many properties available on the hillsides. This cabin was absolutely stunning, cozy place.
This cabin was absolutely stunning, cozy place. We were there in group of 7 (a family) and were very satisfied. There are two roads to access the accommodation, from the main road (steep) and from the back road (more safe in winter). The host speaks mainly German, so be aware of that and learn some words if you’re not speaking german language. Shower has very nice hot water, view is splendid, location great. It was perfectly clean and well prepared for our arrival. Location of Landhaus Aigner is great as it is on the hill above Mittersill so the view to the mountains is breathtaking. It takes only few minutes by car to go downhill to Mittersill. Staff was very friendly, kind and helpful. Breakfast was rich and delicious.
