The place is fantastic, we traveled with 5 kids and everybody loved it. The kitchen is well equipped, we enjoyed the sunset and grilled outside. We also used the sauna even if its summer and sweltering outside. The house is charming in a wooden traditional way ( careful poor sound isolation :)))

Excellent food (except for Topfen Strudel). Convenient location: cross-country skiing and hiking routes start next to the hotel. The room was cozy furnished, spacious and with renovated windows. Recently renovated spacious bathroom and big shower cabin with a window. Huge balcony with a view to both the mountains and the valley.

    Gosau had everything we needed for a wonderful, relaxing...

    Gosau had everything we needed for a wonderful, relaxing holiday - a grocery store, multiple restaurants, beautiful views, friendly people, and many trails for hiking, biking, and walking. Additionally, Gosausee is only a short drive away. We didn't leave Gosau during our entire stay, as there were plenty of things to do, including just relaxing.

    Gosau is getting really popular among the tourist who want...

    Gosau is getting really popular among the tourist who want to visit places in Austria. Closer to Hallstatt, it offers serenity and options to hike, do rock climbing and ride mountain bikes. Gosau lake was beautiful and the hike around it is mesmerizing with some magnificent sights.

    Gosau is charming with its mountain range and landscape. Very relaxing and refreshing. It is a small, but beautiful village with not many restaurants there. Restaurant Moosalm offers tasty and comfort food with good price and super freindly staff, don't miss a chance to try!! Gosau is very close to Hallstatt. It is great to base in Gosau and visit Hallstatt for a half day trip.

    Gosau was breath takingly beautiful.

    Gosau was breath takingly beautiful. Snow covered mountains and trees were just like in a beautiful winter postcard. Very good place for skiing. Stay at a good property like Vital Hotels gives you Chance not just to enjoy nature but also to enjoy indoor swimming pool, spa, sauna and gym. Must need for relaxation. You can take the cable car for a panoramic view of the city when there is a good weather.

    Beautiful little village with scenic views all around.

    Beautiful little village with scenic views all around. There are so many places to visit in and around Gosau. The walks, hiking places, lakes, Five Fingers, and Hallstatt. You must visit this region if you are planning a holiday in and around the Austrian Alps. We went there during the summer vacation. This must be beautiful in the winter as well.

    The residence was exceptional.

    The residence was exceptional. The host was gracious and came by to ensure we would take advantage of what the residence could offer in comfort. The outdoor sauna was fantastic after a full day of excursions.

    Accomodation was awesome, super clean, and the kitchen had everything, fancy silverware, coffee, snacks, salt n pepper, oil and even rubber bands and zipper bags. They had toys, books, and games too! Plus, a washing machine with soap and a dishwasher with tabs. The host really thought of everything. Gosau is like a murren/ wengen type village with cars but not touristy. Grocery store was also nearby. Lobby has resort like vibe.

    In the middle of Gosau Valley, the hotel boasts a panorama view that one could enjoy immersively. The family room provided one double bed and one bunk bed which is friendly for family with two kids. The breakfast is quite abundant and have various choices. Easily parking.
