Jermuk is small but very charming, with a lot of opportunities for hiking. The road to the largest Armenian waterfall is surprisingly well-done and has a lot of interesting views on the way. The free mineral water fountains were a pleasant surprise. And city folk is very nice and helpful. The environment is great. Nice waterfalls close by and historic places. The area is located at a relatively high altitude.
