We did stay 7 nights into the Deluxe King Room with Balcony (and Marina View). Enough time to experience in full the hotel facilities: swimming pools, gym, lounges, restaurants and bars. It’s all brand new and state of the art equipments, perfectly maintained and clean. The location is amazing, central to most main activities Abu Dhabi has to offer. The staff is extremely welcoming, customer focused, 100% English speaking, and discrete.

Interior and quality of the hotel is top class. Nice view from the room. Extra bed was brought to the room for the kid (free of charge). Outside pool with beach access is great. On-site promos for breakfast, lunch, dinner and more - see hotel website for different promos, and expect special offers during check-in. Breakfast has reach selection of food. Note: we booked hotel without breakfast; we only had breakfast on selected days and thanks to promos it was cheaper; some days we went to other places around to try something else.

The room was was incredibly spacious and comfortable. I especially loved the view of the city and marina, it was a beautiful spectacle of lights at night. We would like to express our special gratitude to the hotel staff! The service is 10 out of 10! We are very satisfied with our stay! We definitely recommend it! The children were playing in the pool on the 8th floor, In the evening, we noticed that our daughter's earring was missing! We weren't even sure if it had been lost in the pool! The next day, the earring was found in the pool filter and returned to us!! Regarding the apartments, they were exceptionally clean upon arrival and in public areas! The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped! There were 2 adults and 2 children. We cooked at home. There was everything we needed. There was a large supermarket and a shopping mall nearby with everything we needed. The pool was very clean, comfortable, and peaceful, and it was much better in the apartment building on the 8th floor than on the roof of the hotel (where we went in the summer). In the winter, it might be better on the roof, as it was completely sheltered from the wind. The staff was extremely friendly and responsive to our requests and needs! The shopping mall on the 0th floor has sports grounds: roller rentals, table tennis, and badminton.

A Modern Arabian Dream

As you fly into Abu Dhabi International Airport, it’s probably good to know that the vast array of streets with multiple names is best negotiated by landmarks rather than exact addresses. And you won’t be short of landmarks since this fast-growing metropolis is packed with tourist attractions.

The Sheikh Zayed Mosque is the 6th largest mosque in the world and is already open, nearing completion. Most buildings and public areas are on this grand scale, such as the 123 metre flagpole on Marina Island or the extensive Khalifa Park which, amongst other attractions, has its own train.

Along the aquamarine waters of the Persian Gulf lies the remarkable waterfront of Corniche, which offers a walkway along its entire 6 km. From here the modern Arabian skyline can be taken in and by night the scene is illuminated, creating an even more glorious spectacle.

However, shopping is really where it’s at in Abu Dhabi. Malls such as the Marina, Abu Dhabi and Al Wahda Malls provide a multitude of goods, endless boutique options and plentiful food halls.     Abu Dhabi is great place, however if transit passengers are required to sleep in their rooms till next flight, this is advisable. Those who would like to visit city for a few hours this location is not advisable as it is too far from Terminal A. Visiting city would be expensive, as there are no complimentary buses or designated pick up locations to and from city provided by hotel, except for Yas island and risks time constraints for those who are on transit.

It was giving Maldives, with a touch of Europe then you step out to the safety and security and realize u are in Dubai. It’s a beautiful place and yes! Siri should add it to the list of heaven

    I was a resident of AUH & moved back to EU. The cost of living has gone up drastically which was a surprise. But was a feeling of nostalgia for us. Discovered the new water front around the Al Maqtaa Area.

    Abu Dhabi, has a very Dubai feel to it (i.e. high rise buildings and loads of malls). Not a great deal of natural beauty to see, unless deserts are your thing ;-). that said, the desert safari with bbq was a great experience and worth doing.

    The room was good! It fulfilled what we needed! It was easy to communicate with the hosts and everyone was professional. Take note that there is no free house keeping daily like in hotels. You need to pay for it. But the apartment itself has cleaning stuff if you want to clean your rooms etc. Plus the washer and dryer is useful too. It was a great stay!
