A warm, welcoming community formed during our stay with other guests, the staff, the surfing instructors and the owners. The huts are clean, free of bugs or other animals. They offer excellent, professional one-on-one surfing lessons and there’s a lovely chill-out area with good music, tasty breakfast and great coffee. We loved every moment and hope to come back again — it was truly hard to leave this place.

Our stay in La Fuga is one of the best stays of our life. We travel often and this is actually the first time we experienced this kind of service. The rooms are spacious and bathrooms are clean. Cleaning service is daily and towel changed every other day. The position is great. 7 minutes by scooter to General Luna, close enough to have lots of green and a peaceful stay. The receptionist and his helper, our kuyas, are always there to help. We asked for scooter rentals, jeep rental, island hopping excursions and airport transfers, everything all arranged by them even the day before. They always do their best and put a lot of effort for you to have a smooth stay. They have created a Whatsapp conversation for our group so they be easily reacheble and work as a concierge service (which makes a HUGE difference vs the other hotels in siargao). We will go back and reccomend this place to all our friends going to siargao !
