Our stay at Cielo Lodge exceeded our expectations! Ronaldo and Natalie are so kind and hospitable, we can't recommend them enough :) All of the meals were delicious, and 2-3 courses. Ronaldo welcomed us with a welcome drink too, which hit the spot after a long day of hiking. Facilities were very clean, and they have a nice pool and lounge area and good wifi. Highly recommend for a stay in the oasis when hiking the Colca Canyon!

The rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated - they seem also very new overall. The food was very good and exactly what we needed after the hike to the location! The family who runs the lodge are very lovely and welcomed us very warmly once we arrived - we also love Pepe the dog!

I have stayed in many austere locations, but this is probably the most simplest place I have paid to stay in. It is beautiful. It is so simple, but also was $12 U.S. for 1 night. If it wasn’t for the mosquitos, I wish I could have stayed for a few more days and just decompressed. The dinner had no options. It came and you either ate it or you didn’t (I’m sure they had a vegetarian option). I liked it though. I’m sorry that I don’t remember the gentleman’s name that helped out during the stay, but he was awesome. Thank you for making this adventure great!

The room was also very nice and the restaurant area very cosy. Edwin was super helpfull and very kind, the food was good and we really enjoyed our stay! This is the most beautiful place we have stayed, would definitely recommend!

Después de una caminata súper agotadora, la piscina es lo mejor que te puede pasar. A donde sea que voltees, el paisaje es espectacular. El personal del lodge es muy amable y dispuesto siempre a ayudarte. Las instalaciones siempre limpias. Muy agradecida, no pude haber tenido mejor viaje 🥰

El Oasis Paraiso Ecolodge, situado a los pies del valle de Sangelle, en Cabanaconde, está rodeado de colinas y vegetación, cuenta con una piscina al aire libre y ofrece un desayuno gratuito. Such a beautiful place to stay in the heart of the canyon! The lovely gardens were also a perk, and of course the pool after a long day of walking. The rooms were cosy and the food was great. We loved our time here - thank you.

Llahuar Lodge is located along the trekking circuit of the Colca Canyon in Arequipa, approximately a 5-hour walk from the town of Cabanaconde, right at the union of the Colca and Huaruro rivers. Amazing view from the hot pools, great food, and a very cute rustic vibe to the rooms. The family that runs the place is what made the experience exceptional. They are so welcoming, and their kids are so sweet!
