Just 5 minutes’ walk from Turangi town centre, Creel Lodge is a 4.5-star Qualmark rated motel offering self-contained suites with a private patio and BBQ facilities. Large living room with separate bedroom. There was a well equipped, small kitchenette. A large, very clean bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. There were several facilities for fishermen. It was very pleasant to sit on the deck and watch the birds. It was a short walk to the river. There were laundry facilities on site. We loved the place.

The Lodge is in a great location and we had a room with a beautiful view over the lake. We also enjoyed time in the property's private hot pool. The staff / owners were all very friendly and welcoming and we'll definitely be staying there again.

Establecido en Turangi, a 49 km de Mount Ruapehu y 48 km de Great Lake Convention Centre, The Grove Turangi ofrece hospedaje con WiFi gratis, un jardín con una terraza, y acceso a un sauna. My husband and I stayed at The Grove Turangi for 4 nights. It was amazing. Property has everything you need to feel like home. Super comfy beds, more than enough of space to store your clothing in both bedrooms. Shower with great pressure. Kitchen’s got everything you need to cook a meal. Living space with two sofas and a smartTV to watch a show and relax. Aircon is there as well to make sure the temperature inside as per your liking. Outdoor area is beautiful and well maintained to enjoy birds singing and surrounding. My husband used the sauna and said it was fantastic. The fact that we were just two and place has two bedrooms was amazing because we did sleep separately one night after completing alpine crossing so we can both relax and just sleep in (haha). Location was perfect for us being so close to Tongariro park to enjoy hikes and walks. Only about 30-40 mins of driving to the tracks. And close to Taupo as well. Thank you for this wonderful stay and I highly recommend this place to anyone who is travelling to the area.

Ofreciendo vistas a la montaña, Lakewood Lodge cuenta con hospedaje con un patio y tetera, y se ubica aproximadamente a 35 km de Orakei Korako Cave & Geothermal Park. It felt like home away from home 🏡.. well presented house with everything you need to have a comfortable stay, especially when you are travelling with elderly family members and kids. I loved the kitchen as it was so well equipped, starting from cutlery to pots and pans and pantry filled with spices.. Beds were so comfortable, and the linen smelled so fresh .. We used the laundry facility and loved the fact that we could dry the clothes out in the line.. We even enjoyed BBQ as there was a facility for that as well..
