The lodge is modern, super comfy, and Akira along with the whole team were fantastic. Even though we visited at the end of the season and were the only guests, they made sure we had everything we needed. Every morning, they prepared breakfast just for us, and we absolutely looooved every dish. The location was perfect for exploring the area. Can’t wait to come back!

At the chalet complex, certain units are equipped with a coffee machine and wine or champagne. Beautiful accommodation with excellent facilities. Plenty of space and very comfortable for bigger groups or families. Concierge team started a whatsapp chat group a day prior to check in and were responsive throughout our stay with any questions we had.

Situated in Myoko, 31 km from Zenkoji Temple and 33 km from Nagano Station, Pension Moomin Papa features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a garden and a shared lounge. The accommodation has a spa bath. When I arrived at Moomin Papa I immediatly felt home. The place is located in a little Onsen town full of chalets and covered in snow, it’s litterally like in a fairytale. I had a dorm but since the place wasn’t busy I had a room to myself. The room was super cozy and really warm, so really confortable. Contacting the host was super easy through the app, they are quickly replying and are making sure everything is allright, all the time. The onsen was a big plus, I really enjoy relaxing in it after a long day skiing. Also, the breakfast was amazing and when I told them I was vegetarian they adjust the menu for me. I really enjoyed my stay, Moomin and Papa are lovely people. I would come back anytime.

Uchimaru Hakuba offers a cozy space with convenient bus stop pickup and drop-off services, complemented by a welcoming staff. While it provides an excellent home base for skiing in Hakuba, please note that there is a longer walk to the nearest dining places.

The property offers a free shuttle service. Free private parking is available on site. Nishiura Hotel (Bellevue) is a real hidden gem. Nestled in the Japanese Alps, it is ideally located in the middle of a major winter sports area, along with many onsen (hot springs) spots including one onsite. The host is most gracious and goes the extra mile for his guests. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

Villa Orange Cabin is set in the Fujikawaguchiko Onsen-kyo district of Fujikawaguchiko, 5 km from Lake Kawaguchi, 7.4 km from Fuji-Q Highland and 28 km from Mount Fuji. This 1-star villa offers free shuttle service and luggage storage space. The villa offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Staff offered a free of charge shuttle back to Kawaguchiko station once our stay was over. The rental bikes and BBQ were very nice and convenient. The service from the staff was excellent.

Location is great, room is spacious for two person, tidy and clean, got basin and fridge inside the room, stayed 4 days very satisfied

At Le Bocage – Hakuba Echoland Chalets, free shuttle services are provided to and from local supermarkets and Hakuba Station during the winter season. Ski storage is available at the reception house. Plenty of space, good kitchen. Super comfy beds. Best beds so far.

There is a shared lounge at this property and guests can go skiing and cycling nearby. I loved everything here. Usually lodge has only Japanese futon in tatami room but we slept comfortably in bed. Breakfast was tasty and hospitality was incredible. They also have sauna 😍

Taka is amazing and such a cool guy, he arranged alt accommodation for us when his place was booked and dropped us off, shuttled our luggage back and forth, boiled eggs for me, had nice yarns with him. His partner and daughter are also amazing so friendly and welcoming! They invited us to a tea ceremony to celebrate the spring coming which was an awesome experience and added bonus to the snowboarding for which we came! Highly, highly recommended if you're coming to Hakuba!!
