We stayed there twice, one night at each end of our two-week holiday in Donegal. We found it a great place to spend our first night after a long flight to Dublin airport (which isn't too far away) and also for finishing off our trip in beautiful and relaxing surroundings. On previous trips to Ireland we'd stayed at other places in County Meath on our first and last nights and they had all been really good but Rathgillen Cabin has become our favourite. Peter, the host, is a very friendly and welcoming fella so we's love it if he'd come to stay with us at our home in Bulgaria some time. And the village has a handy shop, a great pub and a wonderful cafe where we had our final breakfast befor heading home. We were also delighted to discover that Nobber was the birthplace of the 17th Century blind harpist. Turlough O' Carolan whose music we've loved for a long time.

The self-catering facility was the cleanest, the most comfortable I could have found. It was fantastic and to be recommended for anyone needing a place to stay near Trim, near Navan, or for a country rest.

Was an amazing stay we had and the host was absolutely brilliant went out of her way to help you and nothing was to much for her. Also offered us a lift to where we needed to be for a family wedding. Breakfast was lovely with a good range of to choose from including a fry up. Beds were comfortable and would defo recommend this place to anyone

It is a nice walking distance from the Duleek Businesscenter. The apartment is quiet and cosy. It was nice, clean and has everything for a simple everyday life.

Com jardim e vista para o jardim, Balsoon Lodge fica em Navan. Hill of Tara fica a 7,5 km de distância e Trim Castle fica a 8,6 km. The high taste of the interiors and the setup, the blend of colors, as well as the theme, have reflected her high taste in her choice for the lodge. Every piece that was there had a story behind it. Everything was perfectly designed for its space, and a full library was at the touch of your fingers. If you are missing your pets, you have BOO very friendly dog and two cats. They will keep you busy; they are extremely friendly. The thoughtful host even baked us fresh bread, fresh farm eggs daily, and honey from the area. Geraldine is a perfect host in every sense. Thank you for lighting up the fireplace.

The property was clean and had all the facilities needed. We did not stay here for long enough to use them which was a shame. Definitely recommend this property and would not hesitate to stay again.

A great little place where Dublin is in easy reach, but it’s so quiet. We really enjoyed ourselves. Good WiFi, very comfortable furniture, both in the living room, and the bedrooms. Patrick was very quick to react to a problem caused by (probably) the last person to use the house. Thanks for that! We’re very pleased that we chose this place for our last couple of nights before going back home.
