The beach is just a 3 minute walk down a coastal path. All rooms offer an ocean view and are equipped with a private bathroom. Some rooms have also a private balcony. The hotel has a unique charm and energy, with a building that boasts over 10 years of history. The owner truly cares about every small detail, which made the stay even more special. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast and the beautiful views through the window. The owner also provided excellent tips for exploring the area. Following their advice, we visited the penguins and witnessed an incredible sunset.

Ahu Tongariki is 20 km from the lodge, while Hanga Roa Anthropological Museum is 2.8 km away. Mataveri International Airport is 5 km from the property, and the property offers a free airport shuttle service. The property itself is excellent. However it desperately needs air con as u cook inside the pods. The fan was almost non existent in the brutal heat. The staff were excellent but u need translation as English is not spoken. Pick up and drop off to the airport was very welcome. If u want to be close to the action tho, it’s not for you. Half hour walk to town in the heat isn’t doable. You need a car or scooter. It’s off the beaten track. The pool is a bonus but if ur in Easter island surely u won’t be laying around a pool at any time
