We stayed only one night, coming from Copacabana, but we would have loved to stay longer. Leonardo organised us a taxi from the port to the private pier and picked us up with his boat, although we arrived quite late. His wife Lina welcomed us with a nice dinner. The next day we rented their kayak to have a look around the Isles and relaxed on the Isle. The room had a huge and comfortable bed with a view over the lake, the shower was big and had warm water and they gave us hot water bottles in case we got cold during the night. They both do beautiful handicraft work. We would come again.

Communication was very good, at least two days before our arrival, Carl's family took great care to make sure everything went smoothly and that our trip was memorable. We loved it there!! We got the chance to stay in this wonderful local lodge! Cesar and his wife are amazing hosts! They take you around and show you how the community on the floating islands lives!
