Probably the nicest place I've stayed so far in Sri Lanka, on a one month trip. The building is incredibly spacious. My room was so big and so well designed that I felt like I was staying in a very tasteful hotel. I had a lovely balcony with an excellent view. Shower was perfect. The host and his partner have the perfect combination of being really friendly but also laid back. If I ever come back to Kandy I will definitely be staying here again. Also all the people in the surrounding neighborhood were very friendly.

This is the most beautiful homestay I’ve ever stayed at. The view, the room, the furniture – everything is absolutely stunning. But what truly made this place special was the warmth and kindness of the hosts. Punya takes care of everything with so much thoughtfulness, and Ravi is not only a great cook but also incredibly caring. I got quite sick during my stay, and they not only took me to the doctor but also cooked for me and looked after me with genuine care. I’m deeply grateful and can recommend this place to everyone. Well I don’t know where to start. I could write a book about this place. We were in love from the minute we checked in, the family made us feel so welcome. Our room was huge lovely quirky little pond in the room with a few fish. The bathroom was really really stunning made out of all recycled rocks and the room was immaculately clean. Little pool to cool down at the end of the day, amazing breakfast. We had a cooking class which was offered by Gayashan and we also had a barbecue with the family which included music. This family quickly became a part of our family. They couldn’t do enough for us. I miss the children they are so lovely, also not forgetting Bruno, kitty and their cockerel. We booked Gayashan for the rest of our tour of Sri Lanka (15 days) and what an amazing guy he is. He’s friendly, he’s funny, he has an amazing sense of humour, he goes above and beyond to make your stay Just perfect. I cannot wait to come back. This is the first time to Sri Lanka and it will certainly not be the last. ❤️❤️❤️ I waited until I was back in the UK to do my review and let’s just say I miss you so much my brother from another mother. The bond between Gayashan and my husband will last a lifetime.

Gorgeous property, so clean , the most comfortable beds. Stunning location at the top of a mountain. Owner could not have been more attentive and was on hand with any query we had. Gave us a lift to town, nothing was too much trouble.
