Amazing cottage on top of a small volcano. The host was incredibly hospitable and welcoming. The cottage was equipped with everything needed — BBQ area, cutlery, towels, and more.

Fabulous woodland location like something from a fairy tale . Spotlessly clean chalet with a comfy bed , great shower and effective heating . Giovanni is a responsive and kind host who sourced vegan products for our breakfast and immeditaly came to the property late at night to deal with an unexpected loss of power . We felt privileged to see a fox close up .

Armando's enormous hospitality and charisma was a true highlight of our stay. His passion for his region and culture was absolutely inspiring and helped us to learn more about Sicily. The house was stylish and well-maintained with a beautuful big terrace (offering a lovely panorama!) that was a wonderful extension of the indoor space, perfect for relaxation. Armando was not only a great host, but also an amazing chef. Breakfast was simply amazing, tasty and fresh, we loved that he used local and seasonal ingredients from his garden to make it. We would highly recommend staying at At Armando's Home to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Sicily. With Armando's hospitality, cosy apartments, and delicious breakfast, you're sure to have an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Armando! The place is quite accessible, and has all the charm of a cabin under Etna. The grounds are very spacious, great for our dog to run around freely. The cabin was clean and had all amenities. There were even outdoor games for the kids and had sunbeds with cushions and wood logs already cut for the fire. The owner was super nice and very helpful and could easily get in touch with him. We had a wonderful time there, would definitely recommend.

This refuge exceeded my expectations. It is small but has incredible charm and atmosphere and one can feel really surrounded by nature there. The hosts are very interesting people. They are friendly and welcoming and really try to make you feel as comfortable as possible. I enjoyed every minute of my stay there and would stay even longer if it wasn't for rather short duration of my trip to Sicily. When I come to hike more around Etna I will certainly stay there as it is very good entry point for visiting the area. I'm sure I could add much more but reviews can't be that long, so Ill just say - I recommend!
