The location is the better and the quieterless of the place, just fee meters away from the beach. It is very peaceful and calm. There is no people walking around. The food is delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The host was on point if their was to be an issue. It was solved within minutes. Alaji was 10 0ut of 10. The breakfast was tasty after he hired a new young lady and very clean, I came back, and my room was spotless, I'm grateful. Mohumad is a special kind of man.

A very beautiful comfortable and well-kept lodge, the surrounding garden is totally lush and idyllic with lots of singing birds that will wake you up in the morning. I loved its traditional design, you can tell a lot of care and attention went into it. The hosts and the staff were super friendly and helpful at all times and will make you feel at home. Jason and Sarah were so welcoming and friendly and were perfect hosts. Bar staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. .

Excellent hosts ,we arrived no luggage Caz supplied all we needed until suitcases turned up.Supplied with pool towels daily,rooms cleaned every day.We were surprised at UK standards in Lodges far superior than anywhere else we had stayed in Gambia.Kitchen had all utensils,full size oven/hob,microwave,kettle ,toaster,fire blanket ,fire extinguisher and smoke alarm.Lovely walk in shower with non slip tiles, full size fan AC available at extra charge.Caz and Stuart full of info and very helpful.I did see review about Caz entering lodges cant understand that as only times came into ours was to put fresh home baked cakes in fridge which we appreciated.All in all hosts with the most would recommend 100% as a safe hassle free place to stay.

Very good and well-furnished and tastefully decorated spacious room with wardrobe, very nice bathroom with shower and bathtub, private terrasse with chairs and table. Wonderful garden with nice pool for swimming and cooling down in the middle of the day. Breakfast and dinner was healthy and delicious, freshly prepared by the hosts Helen and Oliver.

Greg & Maria are wonderful, warm hosts who instantly made us feel relaxed & at home. By the end of our two- nights stay we felt part of the family. Evergreen is a beautifully designed & tranquil oasis, with lots of personal touches. The food was authentic & delicious. Greg is a coffee-connoisseur providing us with ample, real coffee!
