Our hosts were proactive, gave us directions before we needed them. The location and views are spectacular, and we were lucky to have had dry sunny weather during our stay. It is a spacious cottage, so glad they didn't try and cram an extra bedroom in; instead there is a massive upstairs lounge area with great views. Didn't use the cooking facilities but it had a clean, well appointed kitchen; coffee & tea & milk for us on arrival were a nice touch. Most comfy bed i've ever had outside my own home - lovely!

Pristine, large, lovely apartment. Hostess provided the best raspberries we've ever tasted and strawberries were out of this world too. Location is excellent for visiting dozens of castles, stone circles, and the gorgeous Aberdeenshire countryside.
